Very nice hostal with many activities such as dancing classes or mezcal tastings. Comfortable with a bar and few common areas to meet up other travelers and we'll located. Service provided is very good and personnel is friendly and helpful. They also sell tours in the city and the outskirts.

Loved staying at this hostel, was perfect for my first hostel experience. I stayed in a private room & felt very comfortable. Everything was super clean, staff were so nice & accomodating. Really lovely areas to relax, surrounded by plants. Kitchen is pretty well equipped with a large fridge, stove, blender, microwave. It can be a little loud at night & early mornings if you stay on the ground floor, but not too bad.

This is the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Oaxaca. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious and made with care. The mixed dorm is spacious and comfortable with many different storage areas. The chill, laid back vibe is exactly what I was looking for. Come here for unpretentious, welcoming, friendly faces!!

So welcoming, so friendly, so safe! The rooms, common areas, garden and general atmosphere were all fantastic. Easily walkable to of the main sights of the city. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Oaxaca.

Pros: I think the best part of this hostel is probably the location. It's very close to the zócalo, and it's surrounded by bars and restaurants. I personally always felt safe walking at night. The shared female dorm was excellent. The mattress was very comfortable, and the room was cleaned daily. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, and made you feel at home! Cons: I understand that Oaxaca is in mosquito season during the rainy season, but due to the villa style of this hostel (outdoor bathrooms and sinks), I probably would not stay in this hostel again in July-August due to the mosquitos. The staff were helpful and provided mosquito spray/cream, but it was just something that was really hard for me to ignore since I was constantly getting bitten when I didn't have Off lotion on. Internet: the internet was too slow to do work which demanded a strong signal, such as video calls. Overall, I don't think this is the preferred hostel to book in case you need to get work done during your stay due to the inconsistent signal as well as the lack of indoor common areas for working. In case you are looking for a place to stay while you explore the city and municipalities, this would probably be a good option :)

Really beautiful hostel in a lovely setting with outdoor spaces and breakfast provided. Bed was super comfortable! My only criticism is the location - it is in a kind of rough looking part of Oxacaca and the walk to the nicer pretty old town is 15mins! This is slightly annoying late at night as a girl. We ended up having to get taxis in and out which cost. Otherwise everything was great!

I had booked 2 nights in the hostel, however when I arrived I realized the location was quite isolated and it didn't feel safe at all, not even walking during the day. They have a sign at the reception saying they recommend to take a taxi to get back to the hostel in the evening, which you should consider when booking. It is annoying to always having to find a cab and an extra cost. I paid one night (without staying) and I left. I found a cheaper and much better accommodation right in the touristic center - this hostel is NOT in the center of Oaxaca where life happens. On the contrary, you have to walk a long avenue to get there. I would not recommend, especially to girls traveling alone.
